We’ll begin working on our annual “Year in Review” publication early in 2025 but we’d like to share our top 10 highlights as we close out 2024. In no particular order:

1.       Welcomed 22 new members, bringing our total to 491.

2.       Initiated our new monthly Member Coffee Chat at Dublin Roasters.

3.       Voted in a new team of Leadership Circle officers and welcomed several new committee chairs.

4.       Awarded $275,000 in grants to 14 organizations at our annual Grant Celebration event in June.

5.       Received $242,558 in donations (excluding sponsorships and event revenue), as of December 15, beating out every previous year for this time period.

6.       Welcomed 428 attendees at our four major events.

7.       Received $29,058 from local organizations that held fundraisers for us.

8.       Held one Member Bridge session, two Speed Connection events, one Sip ‘n Share, a New Member Meet & Greet, and fielded a "Bring A Broom" team - all designed to forge stronger relationships among our members.

9.       Executed a Member Volunteer Survey to match our members’ interests to ongoing volunteer needs.

10.  Held a strategic planning session with the 2024-2025 members of the WGC Leadership Circle.
